Vicki Tahl

Vicki Tahl graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, where her passion for helping others first took shape. She later pursued her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at New York University, driven by a deep desire to empower individuals to reclaim their independence and dignity. She lives in New York City with her husband and their three children.

She feels passionate about Caring Kind as her mother has been living with Alzheimer’s for many years. Vicki has witnessed the slow, confusing memory loss steal away familiar pieces of the woman who raised her. She’s also watched her father step into the role of caregiver. Their experience has shown her both the emotional toll and the quiet heroism that families face every day with this disease.

This ongoing experience has made Vicki determined to advocate for Alzheimer’s awareness, care, and research. She hopes to use her voice to support other families walking this same path, provide resources for caregivers, and bring attention to a disease that affects not just patients but the whole family.
