Understanding Dementia for Professionals

This educational seminar provides an opportunity for professionals to learn about Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia, and how to apply this information to their profession. Social Work Continuing Education Contact Hours are available for a fee.

Support Group Leader Training

CaringKind’s Support Group Leader Trainings are offered several times each year and are open to health care professionals and former caregivers who are interested in leading one of our support groups.

This intensive, four-day training incorporates both educational material with experiential group learning and includes information about dementia, caregiving and how support groups work, as well as interviews with experienced support group leaders and an overview of services offered by us.
