Todd Matlovsky

Reporting directly to the COO and other C-level officers, Todd Matlovsky has a broad range of responsibilities in a highly dynamic fast-growing company. Scaling growth while maintaining the original culture and ethos of the Five Guys brand, has been central to Todd’s success and growth to senior positions. As a senior operations professional, and now leading strategy and planning, Todd has a strong foundation with superior financial results in all aspects of business. He quickly identifies problem areas and institutes best practice methodology with innovative solutions. Communicating with passion to drive a team towards a unified goal, demonstrates a full suite of skills to lead an organization towards the highest of goals and aspirations. Previous experiences with international companies also provide a well-rounded understanding of cultures and various dynamics.
At Five Guys Enterprises, Todd is regularly tapped to work within a multi-disciplinary environment, breaking down silos and finding solutions to highly complex issues. Todd’s immediate prior role, as Vice President of Franchise Operations, lead 1/3 of the company with 50+ franchisees in wide areas of North America. This required building coalitions, shared goals, and driving superior financial and operational results. Presently, that same mindset is used in his role as Vice President of Strategy & Planning. Now working with all aspects of the company, to bridge the siloed gaps that come when an organization grows, especially explosively.
Todd has also provided expertise in other environments. Serving as President for his building’s coop Board for over 15 years, has provided deep experience in volunteer and board related environments. Todd has served on professional associations and recently along with Bronx Realty Board completing union negotiations for thousands of employees of Local 32BJ. Todd has been sought after to serve on local realty associations in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. In the past, Todd had also provided business expertise to underserved and minority businesses through various programs with NY state and local government. Presently, Todd has committed to working with NYPACE. A non-profit who stimulates job creation and economic opportunity in underserved communities by mobilizing pro bono professionals to support local entrepreneurs.
Todd studied Physics and Math at a Masters level at Queens College, with a minor in computer science.
