Background
Perla Tamez Casasnovas, a first-generation American and daughter of South Texas immigrants, grew up inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of her parents. Her parents started from humble beginnings to become successful entrepreneurs. Their journey taught Perla the foundational principles of launching and scaling businesses—skills she would later turn into extraordinary success.
Entrepreneurial Achievements
In her 16 years as an entrepreneur, Perla has launched 23 startups across 13 different industries, collectively generating over nine figures in revenue. Her portfolio spans healthcare, real estate, the service industry, and personal development. While many of her businesses have thrived, she values the lessons learned from her losses as pivotal to her growth as a business leader.
Social Impact and Leadership
For the past five years, Perla has dedicated herself to driving social impact and reshaping the narrative for the Latino community. As the founder of The Latina Empire, she leads a thriving organization of thousands of women across 9 chapters in the U.S. and Canada. Her mission is to empower Latina women by helping them heal their hearts, challenge their minds, and achieve financial independence.
