Susan has served on the Board since 1997 and is currently an Emeritus director.  She is Of Counsel to the law firm Duane Morris LLP where, before retiring, she was a partner and chaired the Post-Acute Care and Senior Services practice group. Her clients were operators and developers of, and investors in, a wide range of healthcare providers that included senior living communities, life plan communities (CCRCs), skilled nursing facilities, home care agencies, and hospices.  Much of her practice centered on providing healthcare regulatory advice in joint ventures, acquisitions, and leasing and financing transactions in the senior living industry.  Susan was selected as a New York Super Lawyer for 14 of her later years of practice. She was frequently invited to speak on legal matters affecting healthcare providers and has contributed articles to numerous publications on various legal topics.
