Courtney Dawson leads CaringKind’s marketing and communications strategy, elevating the organization’s public presence and positioning it as a trusted leader in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. With more than 25 years of experience spanning nonprofit leadership, venture capital, political strategy, fashion and event production, and marketing communications, Courtney has served as a Chief of Staff, brand strategist, and trusted partner to executive teams. She has advised and supported CEOs, philanthropists, and high-profile leaders on a large scale, helping them refine their vision, amplify their voice, and execute with impact. Known for bringing a rare combination of creative vision, operational rigor, and fundraising expertise, Courtney is recognized for elevating leaders and organizations alike, ensuring their ideas and initiatives thrive.

Over the course of her career, Courtney has been a trusted advisor and indispensable force behind the success of high-profile leaders and founders, often serving as the behind-the-scenes architect helping to build, stabilize, and elevate multi-billion-dollar enterprises. Her ability to anticipate needs, streamline complexity, and drive vision into execution has made her an essential partner to the people and companies she supports.

At CaringKind, Courtney works in close collaboration with the education and development departments, overseeing all marketing initiatives, from ideation and messaging to multi-platform campaign production and digital infrastructure. Over the past three years, she has led a brand transformation that has dramatically increased the organization’s visibility, engagement, and program participation. Her work blends strategic narrative development with CRM optimization and multimedia storytelling, helping the organization connect more deeply with its audiences while growing its impact at scale.

As Chief of Staff to Alan Patricof, she helped launch Primetime Partners, a venture capital firm focused on aging and longevity innovation. At CaringKind, her forward-thinking leadership in marketing, relationship-building, and brand reinvention has strengthened the organization’s reach and reinforced its role as a trailblazer in the dementia care space.

Courtney’s passion for Alzheimer’s support is deeply personal, shaped by many years assisting loved ones through every stage of the disease, as both a care partner and care advocate. These experiences shape her belief that authentic storytelling, compassionate support, and inclusive care systems remain among the most powerful tools for changing the narrative around Alzheimer’s care. She envisions a future where every person impacted by dementia is met with dignity, understanding, and a caring network of support and resources that meets them wherever they are on their journey.

Courtney believes that a diagnosis should never define the boundaries of one’s life and champions the idea that everyone deserves to not only live but to live well, with dignity. She is proud to be part of an organization that brings these values to life and transforms them into action.
