The more interaction you have, the more you talk, the more people who know, the more people who can support you — you know, the better for your brain health and the better for the family. 

So right away, you know, we were very proactive about that. And I feel very strongly about that. I also think the more proactive and active you are, you know which is really important for people, the longer you will be healthy. You know there’s no cure, but there are things that you can do to stimulate and activate your brain and spirit. You know because one of the things Alzheimer’s attacks is initiation.

I have this condition, but it doesn’t stop me from finding the people that I love most and spend time with them. You know, just keep those relationships, as strong as I can, you know? And it’s just very, it’s just very…it moves me to have so many friends come in and, you know, be with me. And it just means a lot, you know? I mean the diagnosis is there at all times and I’m aware of it.
