Health/Resource Fair – Trained staff or volunteers will table at your event, providing information and answering questions about CaringKind’s programs and services.
Dementia Overview Education:
Dementia Friends – During this interactive session, participants will deepen their understanding of dementia and explore simple yet impactful ways to support those affected by it in their communities. Includes information about CaringKind’s programs and services.
Building Dementia Awareness – This presentation seeks to raise awareness and reduce stigma by addressing some of the common myths related to dementia. Participants will learn about the causes and impacts of dementia, along with a few ways to reduce risk and live full lives with a diagnosis. Includes information about CaringKind’s programs and services.
Brain Health and Aging – During this presentation, participants will learn about ways to protect brain health, address risk factors to promote healthy aging, and identify the difference between normal aging and signs of dementia. Includes information about CaringKind’s programs and services.
Future Planning – During this presentation, participants will learn about different aspects of future planning for families impacted by dementia, including a brief overview of advance health care planning, legal and financial planning, residential and home care options. Includes information about CaringKind’s programs and services.
